By creating an account on tradegame.org you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

tradegame.org is a cryptocurrency trading simulation platform operated as an independent project. All trading is conducted with virtual (simulated) currency only:

• No real money, fiat currency, or cryptocurrency is involved at any point
• No real assets are bought, sold, held, or transferred through this platform
• You start with a virtual balance of $10,000 USD (simulated) for paper trading
• Portfolio values, gains, and losses are entirely fictional and have no monetary value
• Leaderboard rankings reflect simulated performance only

Market prices displayed on the platform are sourced from CoinGecko for simulation purposes and may be delayed or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data.

3. Not Financial Advice

tradegame.org is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes:

• Financial, investment, or trading advice
• A recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any real asset
• A prediction or guarantee of future real-world market performance

Past simulated performance does not indicate future real-world results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making real investment decisions.

4. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

• Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 16. If you are under 16, do not register.
• Accurate information: You must provide truthful and accurate information when registering (valid email, appropriate username)
• Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account
• One account per person: Creating multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or circumvent restrictions may result in termination of all accounts

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to manipulate the leaderboard or trading
• Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or platform mechanics rather than reporting them
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the platform's operation, infrastructure, or other users' experience
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Circumvent rate limits, trade cooldowns, or other protective measures

6. Data and Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which describes in detail what data we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR.

Key points:

• We collect only the minimum data necessary (email, username, password hash, trade history)
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind
• You can export all your data or delete your account at any time from Settings
• Account deletion permanently removes all associated data

7. Cookies

We use a single strictly necessary cookie for authentication (login session). No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used. For full details, see Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Cryptocurrency names, logos, and market data are the property of their respective owners. CoinGecko data is used under their API terms. The tradegame.org platform, its design, and original content are the property of the project operator.

9. Limitation of Liability

tradegame.org is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for any losses, damages, or issues arising from use of this platform
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on simulated trading results
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for any inaccuracies in market data displayed
• Under no circumstances should simulated results on this platform influence real-world financial decisions

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page, which permanently and immediately removes all your data in accordance with GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure).

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. For users in the European Economic Area, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the GDPR or other applicable EU consumer protection regulations.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated where practicable. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates that you have been informed of the updated terms.
